Advancing to 4-0, Hoover High School proved yet again why they have one of the best football programs in the country.
The Buccaneers jumped out to an early 28-0 lead against Northridge on Friday, September 20. By the final whistle, Hoover led 56-14
The offensive dominance from the Bucs spurred from Jack Hutcheson, Hoover’s junior quarterback. Hutcheson complete 11 of 16 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns. On top of that, the quarterback ran twice for 55 yards.
Hutcheson found junior receiver Justin Johnson six times throughout the game, acquiring 122 yards and two touchdowns, one of which coming from 65-yards out.
Currently, Hoover sits at 14th in the DigitalSports National Football Rankings. The Bucs have worked hard for their current position, scoring 178 points and only allowing 24 in their first four games.
Hoover prepares for their next game against state rivals, Vestavia Hills, a highly anticipated matchup. Kickoff is at 7:00p on Friday, September 27.
